Anima-L
2003. Multimedia dance performance. 37min
Two women and one man dance alone – in close proximity – expressing their electric bodies in front of the camera and the audience. Inspired by Plato’s dialogues on the human soul, this performance display the disfiguring of perfect bodies.
Anima-L explores the perception of the physical (flesh) and transcendental (spirit) dimensions of the human body when transformed by connective technologies.
Concept Gianluca Beccari. Performed in the UK and Italy.
